The purpose of this course is to show that cofferdam construction is a complex process of design and construction through a series of stages. The designer must consider a number of forces than just the hydrostatic water loading. The student will have a better understanding of the design and construction process involved in building tremie sealed cofferdam in open water. This course includes a multiple-choice quiz at the end, which is designed to enhance the understanding of course materials.
